JakOnline – Persija’s young midfielder Rayhan Hannan is having the moment of his career so far with the capital-based side. He scored two goals in the last three appearances with the club and kept showing positive signs in his form.
Hannan scored against Barito Putera and Persita Tangerang in January, one goal for each game. He made an appearance in the last outing against Persis Solo where he failed to extend the scoring streak.
Despite the rising stats, Hannan refuses to be satisfied as he aims for more. So far this season, he has scored three goals as the first one came in a game against PSIS Semarang back in October.
“There is a lot to be done,” Hannan said. “We have dozens of games ahead so we focus on that one by one and prepare for it well.”
Hannan is a product of the club’s youth side who competed in the league’s Elite Pro Academy. He has shown an impressive run since his debut last season where he collected two assists.
In 2022, Hannan had a two-month trial with Australian side Brisbane Roar which, according to him, gave him a helpful insight in understanding football. “There are a few aspects to improve, particularly the tactics and physicality. The way they train was different as it requires communication during the game,” he said via the club’s official website.
